The newly established Tonchin Ramen in the Larchmont neighborhood of LA is a place you should try if you are in the mood for a legit bowl of ramen. You can watch them make fresh noodles in the special room while you wait to be seated. This place is especially busy in the evenings, so I recommend that you make reservations in advance. Otherwise, you’ll probably be waiting for a while.

Soy based tonkotsu ramen with house made thin noodles. Served with your choice of pork chashu, chicken, or tofu. Topped with green onions, kikurage mushrooms, sesame seeds, and seaweed

Noodles are made in house. You can see the noodle room when you walk in. So good.

Thick noodles with creamy and rich broth with truffle seasoning. Topped with a whole chicken leg, leafy greens, white onions, and parmesan cheese.

The broth is rich and creamy.

Thick noodles come with this bowl. I recommend asking if you can substitute for thin noodles. I find thin noodles are much easier to slurp.
