Signature from Josui. This has a touch of fish flavor that’s only appropriate if you are into this flavor profile to begin with. If you are new to ramen you may not like this. If you start eating ramen regularly, you’ll probably acquire a taste for bitter fish flavor in your broth.

The signature ramen from Josui isn’t for everyone. The broth is finished off with a little fish stock. This a little more of an acquired taste. If you are just beginning your ramen experience, you may want to wait until your taste buds are a little evolved.

The stock is a mixture of pork and chicken. Topped with green onions, radish, bamboo, seaweed, and pork chashu.

Served with thin noodles.

This is what comes in the package. Recommended that you make some eggs and chop up some fresh green onion in advance.

If you care, here are the calories and ingredients.

Reheating the chashu, menma, and broth in boiling water is so easy.

It’s served with a lot of noodles that need to be cooked for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Stir frequently to ensure even cook.

The tonkostu broth is infused with a secret blend of soy sauce that makes this a rich bowl. I added sesame seeds and green onions.

Duck Shoyu Home Kit From Ramen Tayosei

Ramen Tayosei Duck Shoyu home kit ingredients individually packaged per serving. You may notice I got the hook up with extra menma on the right side. This menma is legit.

Cooking instructions for one portion;

Grab a medium-large pot and bring 8 cups of water to a raging boil. This will be for your noodles.
Grab a smaller pot and pour the soup into into it over medium-low heat to slowly warm it up. Be sure not to bring to boil, but slight simmer.
Remove the duck chashu and gently warm in a pan. You want it medium rare. Cooked any more it will become tough.
Once the water for noodles is boiling, place one serving in the water for 1 minute and 15 seconds. Frequently stirring the noodles.
Gently toss the noodles in the soup to thoroughly coat them in the soup.
Arrange toppings and don’t forget to slurp.

Up close on the vegan miso. You can’t tell from your first look, but there are a ton of bean sprouts embedded in this bowl and it’s what makes this bowl so filling.

The creamy vegan miso is organic soy broth enriched with special whipped vegan miso. The toppings include mixed greens, radish, menma, green onions, corn, and bean sprouts.

The broth is creamy and has a hint of nuttiness to it.

The noodles are chewy and distinct from the hard and thin noodles used in their other bowls. This is a hearty bowl of ramen that will leave you satisfied.
