Vegan Tantanmen
Vegetable soup with konbu and shitake, seven types of nuts, sesame, cilantro, chili oil, green onions, chives, szechuan peppercorns, pickled ginger, and soy meat. This was rich and creamy with the typical sesame flavor that I know and love in tantan style noodles. The use of enoki for the chashu was really well done. The peppercorns give this bowl a bit of heat.
