This shop was initially visited back in 2016, well before my ramen palate evolved to its current state. Because of this, it’s hard to properly describe this ramen. It doesn’t appear to be on Shiba Ramen’s menu, which is available online. What I can tell you is that it was a pretty good bowl of ramen that the average person will enjoy. However, if you are a ramen connoisseur, you’ll likely be disappointed with this shop. I can tell you that they are likely using Sun Noodles, which are pretty solid.
If you are in the SF area, the shops I recommend you check out, in no particular order, are:
- Mensho (Nob Hill, San Francisco)
- Kirimachi (Embarcadero Center, San Francisco)
- Ippudo (Financial District, San Francisco)
- Hinodeya (Japantown, San Francisco)
- Ramen Nagi (Palo Alto)
- Taiskoken (San Mateo)
